Fur Elise and Tetris Remix

January 17, 2009

A truly awesome mix of Fur Elise and the Tetris song we all know in love. If you know both songs, like me, the transitions between the two will blow you away. It’s an older video, but it still rocks.

Also, I’ve been busy since I’ve been back at college but I started working with Game Maker again tonight. No idea when the next update will be, but it shouldn’t be too far off.

This isn’t our actual house, I have no pictures of the house, but it conveys the feel of the house.

Superhero – Update 1

January 7, 2009

My first video of my Superhero game. ┬áMusic Master is in the past, unforuntately, because I never really wanted to do it in the first place. I wanted to make some simple, short game to sort of “get back” into making games, but that ended up being a bad idea because I didn’t care about this game.

Anyway, there isn’t much in Superhero so far, but it shows of the basic engine and some of the graphics (backgrounds are unfinished).

Design Tours – Great for Devs

January 5, 2009

If anyone else out there is a self-proclaimed game developer, you should check this out.  Design Tours is a ongoing series created by David Rosen (creator of Lugaru) looking into the various design choices of indie games. You can check them out on his Vimeo page.

Also, news regarding my own indie projects should be up today or tomorrow.

Best Buy at the Airport

December 30, 2008

As I ran frantically through the Atlanta International Airport to try and make my connection to Gulfport, something caught my eye. I was used to seeing things like McDonald’s and Cinnabon in airports, but a Best Buy? That’s just too weird. So I went in for a closer look.

Merry Christmas – Here’s an Awesome Video

December 25, 2008

I saw this video on Gonintendo.com and it was just too good not to share.

Anyone should be able to appreciate this awesome piece of music, Windwaker fan or not.

And Merry Christmas!

New Banner – PixelBanner

December 24, 2008

I am very much in the 8-bit mood, thanks to Mega Man 9. It took me nearly four hours, two and a half in Dr. Wily’s castle alone, to beat the game, but I finally did.

Now to move on to hero difficulty!
