Space Living – Update 4

I didn’t work too much on the game, but I did work a little on the graphics and change some gameplay.

UPDATE: Okay, i’ve been working on the graphics a little more, so now this is what it looks like:

As you can see, a lot has changed. I think it looks a lot better, though it’s still not done.

First off, I added the boomerang in the last update, but I’ve changed it up since then. The boomerang will still go around you and increase in power as it goes around, but now you can send it out in a straight direction. It’ll still take some skill to do, but it should be fun.

The graphics of this place are of the ship. The main tile (the boring grey one) will change, but that is the hardest thing to do. You want to make it interesting enough, you want it not to have that tiled look, but you also want it to not be too busy. You can check those consoles on the left and they’ll provide various information on various things.

Which leads me to a big thing that I want to do in this game. If you want to play straight through the game, that’s fine, It’ll be a fun game. If you want to get the most out of it, you’ll talk to the characters, check the computers, learn stuff about the story. The only places you’ll get story from are the things you can check, the people you talk to, and the events that happen in real time. There will be no cutscenes, no long-winded dialogues, nothing like that.
